EN9 carbon steel is a medium carbon steel grade commonly supplied in the as-rolled condition. It can be flame or induction hardened to produce a high surface hardness with excellent wear resistance for a carbon steel grade.
Alloy 410S (UNS S41008] is a low carbon, non-hardening moditication ot Alloy 410 (UNS S41000) the general purpose 12% chromium martensitic stainless steel. The low carbon and a small alloy addition minimize austenite formation at high temperatures which restricts the allovs ability to harden.
12L14 is a type of American standard lead - sulfur free - cutting structural steel (Automatic Steel). Alloyed elements in free-cutting steel like Se, lead can reduce cutting resistance and improve the finish and precision of machined parts.
Stainless steel 310/310S is an austenitic heat resistant alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation under mildly cyclic conditions through 2000°F. Stainless 310 is often used at cryogenic temperatures, with excellent toughness to -450°F, and low magnetic permeability.
Incoloy alloys have more iron contents than inconel alloys. These alloys show outstanding corrosion resistance, strength, durability, and high-temperature stability.
Stainless Steel 321 has similar composition to 304 Stainless Steels but with addition of Titanium. This alloy has excellent resistance to corrosion and is also ideal for high temperature environments.
Monel refers to a group of nickel alloys that have copper as the main alloying element. In addition to these two primary metals, Monel alloys may also contain small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, silicon, sulfur, aluminum, and titanium. The specific composition of a Monel alloy depends on its desired properties and applications. In general, Monel alloys are known for their high strength and resistance to corrosion in both fresh and saltwater while also having excellent high and low-temperature resistance.
Stainless Steel Duplex 2205 is the most widely used duplex (ferritic /austenitic) stainless steel grade. t finds applications due toboth excelent corrosion resistance and high strength.
904L is a stainless steel alloy that displays high resistance to corrosion, particularly against acidic environments. Therefore, 904L isapproved for use in acid production and concentration, along with the transport of such substances.
With excellent weldability and formability 904L also maintain non- magnetic state in all conditions.
904L provides excellent toughness , even down to cryogenic temperatures with its austenitic structure.
Inconel alloys are high-performance nickel/chromium superalloys developed for high temperatures, corrosive environments, and oxidation resistance. They are used in the harshest environments such as: in chemical processing reaction chambers/valves, polymer granule manufacture, military applications, gas turbine components, oil fields, and high-grade marine applications.
Inconel alloys include:
Inconel 600: solid solution reinforcement
Inconel601
Inconel 625: Acid resistance, good weldability. The LCF version is commonly used for bellows.
Inconel 690: Low cobalt content and low resistivity for nuclear applications
Inconel 713C: Precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium base cast alloy Inconel
718: Gamma double prime reinforced with good weldability
Inconel 751: Increased aluminum content to increase fracture strength in the 1600 °F range
Inconel 792: Increased aluminum content to improve high-temperature corrosion performance, especially for gas turbines
Inconel 939: Gamma prime reinforced to improve weldability
