316L Stainless Steel Round Bar is an austenitic grade of stainless steel that contains a very low carbon content. This alloy provides excellent corrosion resistance to aggressive environments, making it ideal for applications such as process equipment and storage tanks in food processing, chemical, petrochemical, seawater and other industries. It also has superior weldability and formability compared to most other grades of stainless steel. The bar has excellent mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures with a minimum Yield Strength of 170MPa up to 600°C (1110°F). Its chemical composition includes 18%-20% chromium, 10%-14% nickel, and 2%-3% molybdenum, with the addition of nitrogen for improved toughness. 316L Stainless Steel Round Bars are used across various industries, including oil & gas engineering, automotive manufacturing and aerospace.
